Solthyri sind zwei enthusiastische Musiker, welche mit ihren selbstgebauten Instrumenten ihre Zuhörer begeistern.
Auf Basis von historischen Fundlagen bauen sie primär Lyra’s (Leiern) nach, welche sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Gesang für ihre Musik einsetzen.
Der Bandname setzt sich aus den Namen der beiden Musiker „Soltiyr“ und „Thyri“ zusammen.
Solthyri’s Repertoire umfasst Irish Folk und Sea Shanties, bekannte Lieder verschiedener Genres und selbst geschriebene Songs, interpretiert mit den historischen Instrumenten.
